Captains Mistress

Also known as four-in-a-row, Captain's Mistress is said to have been played nightly by Captain Cook and his crew while they sailed the world. Although the object of the game is a simple one, strategies are virtually endless. Each player tries to line up four of his or her hardwood rounds in a row, either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. At the end of the game, pull the gangplank at the bottom and the rounds will drop back into the cabinet. Crafted from exquisite wood with brass finish metal knob, the case housing the game measures 11.25 long and nine inches wide. It's lined with classic green felt. The playing balls are crafted from wood in two vibrant, natural colors.
