Wonderful chess set overall, its exactly as it is portrayed when viewing it online. Truly an original and can withstand constant usage, provided the users do not let the pieces drop on the chess board which makes a loud sound. Only two problems I had with the chess set is that all of the individual pieces had a somewhat strange odor to them (weird, but i cleaned them all with rubbing alcohol) and the bottom part of the chess pieces (made out of soft fabric for easier movement across the chess board) for a few of the pieces peeled off (glued them back on). Other then that, chess set is good.

I've had this set for years, but always pull out a wooden set when I play. The reason being is the white pieces are opaque in design and therefore difficult to differentiate pieces when viewing at certain angles (directly behind them for example). Pawns are often mistaken for bishops and vice versa. Makes a great display otherwise.
