It's like that rug that really ties the room together. You don't want it to get stained or worn out. I was looking for a chess set and this one was perfect. Very nice pieces, I reccomend buying a case for them so they don't break or get chipped. Very sturdy however. Comes in a little dull in color so you should buy marble polish.

Considering the delicateness of this set, it should be placed in a location away from regular traffic. Coffee tables and this chess set do not mix very well because it is easy to bump over a piece and leave nicks on them. It's a beautiful chess set but should be displayed or stored in a less traffic filled location.

This chess set is solid marble that is well crafted and very attractive. My son and I especially like the green and black colors. Its weight and balance of each piece is exceptional, and the board is also well balanced and square.

I really was amazed at the size of the chess board. It is a really pretty set. The only Con I can find with the set is that a couple of the green chess pieces wobble a little bit. The black pieces don't at all so I'm not sure what happened with the green ones. They don't fall over though and are weighted nicely. You will be happy with this set and the price is reasonable.
