We weren't sure whether or not it would look and feel like a "furniture-quality" living-room piece, but it does, and our whole family enjoys playing on it. Time will tell whether it can take the abuse of four boys and two dogs!

Does not look like the picture on-line. Finish is quite reddish, not walnut. Each wood part is different stain color & grain. Post not close to horizontal surfaces. Always a dent and an imperfection somewhere on every piece. Got a replacement and was same way. Tried to select best part from the 2 but still looks shoddy. Support was excellent, but a missing or bad part can not be replaced. You must repack and ship back the whole thing. Air Waybill was provided so no cost to you. Main problem with this table is gross lack of quality control at factory. Hayneedle is just well intended middleman distributor.

It would have been a perfect experience but we were missing a white pawn in our shipment, plus there was a pretty obvious blemish in our game board....it looked like it was tried to be covered up.....not so much. The table itself was sturdy and easy to assemble.

The delivery was super fast. The assembly was a cinch. The chess pieces are incredibly detailed. The oak stain appears rich.

Color is not even close to picture. Parts noticeable color mismatch. Not Oak - looks like much cheaper wood type. Lots of imperfection and blemishes

It was a gift for my son. When he opened it top found out the top was damaged & it was missing pieces. I was told that I had to return the complete item and repurchase it. That it could not exchange the damaged Signature Oak Multi-Game Table
for a new one. Now this item is currently out of stock. I have to wait until March to replace the one that I return, because it was damaged. Would recommend this item if I am able to get a replacement that is good condition & not missing pieces.
