Beautiful wood board with quality workmanship, but the wood playing pieces are very light weight and slide off the points with the slightest bump. Also difficult to pick up the pieces to move them. I replaced with a felt surface and heavier playing pieces. I might recommend for adults only. But this game is more about appearance and funstionality.

Fairly priced product that fits my need for a travel backgammon set. My only criticism is that the wood, while visually attactive, is a little light weight and has a balsa wood feel and tone to it.
